Plain English, and specific to this site: what I collect when you send an enquiry, who else sees it, how long I keep it, and how to get it changed or deleted.
In effect from 19 October 2026
I am Vivek Jain, an independent developer and digital growth consultant based in India. There is no company behind me and no team with access to your enquiry. India's DPDP Act calls me the Data Fiduciary for what you send through this site; the GDPR and UK GDPR call me the data controller. Either way it is me, and questions, requests and complaints all come to the same inbox: vivek.fs.dev@gmail.com.
Nothing, until you choose to send me something. Reading the site needs no account and no form. When you send the enquiry form, I collect:
The shorter form inside Game Mode works the same way, and also sends me the answers you picked there so your enquiry arrives with context.
What I never ask for: payment details, identity documents, an account. I do not track you across other websites, build profiles, or make automated decisions about you.
What makes this lawful: under the DPDP Act, the consent you give by ticking the box — which you can withdraw at any time, as easily as you gave it. Under the GDPR and UK GDPR, replying to you and preparing a quote are steps taken at your request before a contract, keeping a record of enquiries is my legitimate interest in running the business, and analytics cookies rest on your consent alone.
Three companies, each doing one job:
That is the whole list. I do not sell, rent, advertise against or pass on your details, and I do not add you to a newsletter or a marketing list. If you click a WhatsApp or email link here, that app takes over and its own privacy terms apply. These three run servers outside India, the EEA and the UK; for data leaving those regions they rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and the UK addendum.
Up to 24 months from your last message, so an old conversation can be picked up again, then deleted along with any attachment. Ask sooner and it goes sooner. If we actually worked together, the records belonging to that contract and to tax law are kept for as long as the law requires.
Whichever law applies where you are, the route is the same: email vivek.fs.dev@gmail.com and tell me what you want. No form, no account, no charge. You can ask me to:
I answer as fast as I can, and in any case within 30 days — and within the timelines the DPDP rules set for grievances.
Tell me first. It is one person reading the inbox, and most things are a misunderstanding one email fixes. If that does not settle it, you can go to a regulator: in India, the Data Protection Board of India (after raising it with me first); in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk); in the EEA, the data protection authority where you live.
No analytics cookies are set unless you accept them. Until you choose, Google Analytics sits in a consent-denied mode that stores nothing on your device. Reject, and it stays that way.
| Cookie | Set by | What it does | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics | Tells one visitor apart from another so visits are not double-counted. | 2 years |
| _ga_B2VW04WNC7 | Google Analytics | Keeps the state of your current visit. | 2 years |
| sb-…-auth-token | Supabase | Signs me into my own admin area. Never set for a visitor. | Until sign-out |
I also measure page speed and visits with Vercel Analytics, which sets no cookies at all and only tells me aggregate numbers — how many people saw a page, roughly where from, on what kind of device. Nothing in it identifies you. Separately, your browser remembers a few small things for itself — your cookie choice, which case-study popup you have already seen, where you have been in Game Mode, and which link brought you here. Those stay on your device and are never sent to me.
This is a site for businesses hiring a developer; it is not aimed at children, and I do not knowingly take data from anyone under 18. If you think a child has sent something through it, email me and I will delete it. If what the site does changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves — what you read here is what the site does today.
Looking for how a project actually runs — call times, who owns the code, contracts and payment? Working together covers that.
